Jumeirah Beach Hotel announces half–term football camp with former England star

The perfect half-term holiday for footballers in the making

Keeping the little ones entertained during the half-term holidays can be challenging, but Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Hotel might just have solved the problem for parents of football-loving kids.

The luxury hotel – a family holiday favourite – has announced that its half-term football camp will be hosted by former Premier League and England international footballer Ashley Cole.

Currently under-15s coach at Chelsea FC, where he played at the peak of his career, Ashley will be putting youngsters aged five to 15 through their paces from 16-20 February.

Run by Football Escapes, specialists in football coaching courses at some of the world’s most exclusive resorts, the camp runs for two, three or five days, with two hours of daily coaching.

It’s certainly an unforgettable experience for any budding footballer. But to ensure each child remembers their time at the camp, all attendees receive a full Football Escapes kit including shirt, shorts and socks, a medal and a signed certificate on completion of the course.

The star follows in the footsteps of Rio Ferdinand, Teddy Sheringham and Michael Owen, who have all previously led football camps with the company.

Former England striker Owen will return to Jumeirah Beach Hotel to lead the Easter 2020 football camp, whilst his old Liverpool teammate Jamie Redknapp will take on coaching responsibilities during the autumn break.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel has earned a reputation as one of Dubai’s most family-friendly hotels – which means there’s plenty to keep kids and parents alike entertained when the day’s football training is done.
